Dow Packaging and Specialty Plastics sets sights on B2C market with inaugural co-branding agreement with Zhejiang Huachen Material Co. Ltd.

Changing consumer habits have become indicative of the growing middle class across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. Consumers with higher disposable incomes now prefer higher quality ,premium products. In China alone ,analysts directly attribute the nation's 2018 Q1 GDP of 6.8% to this expanding trend.

Well aware of this trend , Dow Packaging and Specialty Plastics (P&SP ),Asia Pacific Adhesives team has embarked on a collaboration with Zhejiang Huachen New Material Co. Ltd.,one of Chinese biggest curtain importers by market share, in order to bring a higher standard of products to consumers across Greater China.

The co-branding partnership, we will see Dow's branding on Zhejiang Huachen's products, signifying the superior mark of quality that Dow brings to the masses.

The co-branding partnership was finalized on April 26,2018 with Ms. Sun Yue Hua , the founder of Zhejiang Huachen New Material Co. Ltd. and Laurent Remy,Global Business irector for Adhesives, P&SP in attendance.

Established in 1994,Zhejiang Huachen New Material Co. Ltd has two production sites,with 300 employees and specializes in production of multi -functional home textiles. The company owns China's largest curtains back-coating plant where it applies Dow's range of PRIMAL Water-Borne Binders to their products.
